The Royal Australian Mint

The Royal Australian Mint is the institution responsible for producing Australia’s circulating coins, as well as a wide range of commemorative coins, medallions, and other numismatic products. Located in Canberra, it’s been operational since 1965 and plays a vital role in Australia’s coin production and design.

They produce billions of coins every year for circulation, as well as limited-edition coins that often commemorate historical events, cultural icons, or significant milestones. The Mint also sells these collectible items to the public and sometimes releases special series that attract collectors from around the world.
